yesterday we created our own travel-sized furry companions. of course it didn't start out with that intention, but a few hair extensions, glue and goodwill purses later, our bags were given "life." we can't seem to get enough of its familiar resemblance to the adam's family's odd & somehow adorable cousin it. fictional characters aside, a mini shetland pony would do too. must say, pretty pleased with its uncanny charming personality. can't get enough of it yourself? no worries. more to come in our etsy shop soon. for now, we leave you with a little video we put together on how to DIY this must-needed sidekick. thanks love aesthetics for the inspiration!

we decided to continue our photo shoot session. just finishing up my photography class, i continue to feel inspired through photography and thought what could be better than combining my two current loves: fashion & photography. we incorporated a playfulness into these shots by capturing some jumping images and using the lighting as our main focal point. we enjoyed mixing & combining our styles to create our own mini lookbook. lets just say we can't get enough of piled on rings & bracelets, disheveled comfort with unexpected racy twists, fur & crosses and vibrant miss-matched colored eyeshadow. all these elements served in one way or another as our underlying inspiration for this getup. more to come...

yesterday our creative juices were flowing and we felt inspired to style and do a mini photo shoot. the barren desert landscape served as a perfect setting for our laid-back "surfin' safari" styled ensemble. think teased undone braids, straw hats, distressed combat boots, the perfect sheer tee and of course feathers. nothing beats the heat better than that.
